1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger root
4 to 5 pounds roasting chicken, whole
1/4 cup agave
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Steps:
