A one skillet solution to dinner tonight.

1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
½ cup chopped onions
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
¼ cup A.1. Original Sauce
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 6 to 7 min. on each side or until done (165°F). Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm. ADD peppers and onions to skillet; cook 3 to 4 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes and A.1. RETURN chicken to skillet; simmer 3 to 4 min. or until heated through. Serve topped with sauce and parsley.

1 clove garlic, minced

1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup water
1 can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed
1/3 cup A.1. Original Sauce

Steps:

  • Brown meat with peppers, onions and garlic in large saucepan. Stir in chili powder; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Stir in tomatoes and water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Add beans and steak sauce; mix well. Simmer, covered, 5 min.

I was fumbling in the fridge and asked DH what he liked better A-1 or Heinz 57. He said A-1 so that is what I did, the seasonings are guesstimated, adjust to your tastes.

4 chicken leg quarters (can use pork chops also)
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 (12 ounce) can beer
1/4 cup A.1. Original Sauce

Steps:

  • Season the leg quarters with the pepper, garlic powder and italian seasoning to your taste.
  • Place in Casserole dish and ALMOST cover with beer.
  • Spread the A-1 sauce on top of the Chicken.
  • Bake at 375 for 45 minutes then take dish from oven and drain the juices. Leave enough juice in bottom of casserole dish to cover the bottom about 1/2 inch.
  • Turn chicken over and spread more A-1 on top of quarters.
  • Bake an additional 20-30 minutes at 400.

2 lb. chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp. pepper
1 tsp. Creole seasoning
1 cup canola oil

Steps:

  • Pour steak sauce over chicken in shallow glass dish. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning after 30 min. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Mix flour, pepper and seasoning in resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, in batches; toss to coat.
