5 MINUTE MASON JAR MICROWAVE BERRY COBBLER RECIPE - (4.3/5)
Provided by mikeimmell
Number Of Ingredients 7
Steps:
- Chop berries and add to a microwave-safe mug. Add powdered sugar, stir to combine. In a separate bowl, add the flour, white sugar and baking powder and mix to combine. Add butter and rub in with your fingers until combined. Add milk and stir (I used my hands for this too; fewer dishes to wash). Add batter to the top of the berries (sprinkle with additional sugar, if desired). Microwave on high about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Allow to cool because this will be screaming hot. NOTE: The ratios used are for a large mason jar mug. This recipe will also make 2 servings in smaller mugs. Make sure to only fill the mug no more than 2/3 full or it will bubble over during "cooking."

Number Of Ingredients 9
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter and pour into a 9- by 13-inch glass baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour directly over the butter in the baking dish, but do not stir. Add strawberries, arranging in a single layer as much as possible. Sprinkle cream cheese pieces over strawberries. Place in preheated oven and bake 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling. (Crust rises up and around the fruit, but fruit will still peek out of top.)
