3/4 cup honey
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups oats
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Combine peanut butter & honey in saucepan over medium low heat and melt to combine.
  • Stir in oats (and other optional ingredients like chocolate chips, dried berries or nuts).
  • Press into a pan that is lined with foil and sprayed.
  • Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Cut block of granola into bars and store in airtight container in fridge for 1 week.

These healthy granola bars need just 3 main ingredients to make and are kid friendly and perfect for adults! Oats, almond butter, and maple syrup are combined to make this healthy snack!

1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup almond butter (can use any smooth nut or seed butter)
3 cups rolled oats (gluten free, if needed)
1/4 cup mix-ins of choice (chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, etc.)

Steps:

  • Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add your maple syrup and almond butter. Whisk together, until combined. Add your oats and stir through, until a thick batter remains. Fold through your mix-ins of choice.
  • Transfer your granola bar batter into the lined pan and press down firmly into it. Refrigerate for at least an hour, to firm up. Slice into bars.
