FALL HARVEST RICE KRISPIES TREATS
These are the perfect treats for your children's Halloween/Fall parties. Inexpensive, and easy enough that the kids can help. They are also very yummy.

Steps:
- In large bowl, mix cereal with candy corn.
- Melt butter and marshmallows in saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Add one drop yellow food coloring and one drop red food coloring to marshmallow mixture to create orange color.
- Stir until thoroughly blended, adding more coloring to achieve desired shade of orange.
- Add marshmallow mixture to cereal mixture and stir quickly to combine and coat.
- Spread in buttered rectangular pan or dish and press evenly.
- While still warm press pumpkin candies into top of the treats.
- Refrigerate and cut into squares when cooled.
- Recipe may be doubled.

- MELT BUTTER AND MARMALLOWS IN LARGE SAUCE PAN ADD RICE CRISPIES AND REMOVE FROM HEAT.ADD FOOD COLORING AND MIX WELL THEN ADD CANDY CORN AND MIX WELL
- POUR INTO PAN SPRAYED WITH PAM SPREAD EVENLY. LET SET FOR A BIT AND CUT INTO SAURES AND TAKE BLACK TUBE OF ICING AND SWIRL [OR ZIG ZAG] ON TOP EACH BAR. THEN PUT PUT INTO LITTLE ZIP LOCK BAGGIES GREAT FOR THE KIDS PARTY AT SCHOOL TO MAKE AT LEAST 30 U MAY HAVE TO DOUBLE/TRIPLE THIS RECIPE.

- Preheat oven to 325°. In a small saucepan, bring first 5 ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour over rice in a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake, covered, until all liquid is absorbed, 30-35 minutes., Meanwhile, in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook pumpkin seeds, brown sugar and cayenne pepper, stirring constantly until sugar melts and cayenne coats pumpkin seeds, 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat; transfer to a plate, spreading out seeds to cool., Sprinkle cooked rice with feta, mint, cranberries and spiced pumpkin seeds.

- IN LARGE SAUCE PAN MELT BUTTER AND MARSHMALLOWS. AFTER MELTED TAKE OFF HEAT ADD THE RICE CRISPIES AND ORANGE FOOD COLORING AND BLEND WELL THEN ADD THE LITTLE PUMPKINS AND BLEND WELL. NOTE: U HAVE TO WORK A LITTLE FAST TO KEEP IT FROM SETTING.
- NOW POUR MIXTURE INTO SPRAYED PAN WITH PAM LET SET FOR A BIT. THEN CUT INTO SQAURES. AND TAKE TUBE OF FROSTING AND SWIRL OR ZIG ZAG ACCROSS TOP OF EACH BAR
- THEN PUT EACH ONE INTO ZIP LOCK BAGGIES AND PLACE IN FRIDGE TIL U R READY TO TAKE TO UR CHILDS PARTY AT SCHOOL
