Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine mustard, jelly, and relish; heat over very low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is hot and well blended.
  • Slice hot dogs diagonally into bite-size pieces; add to sauce and heat thoroughly.

A super spicy relish that is good on hot dogs, burgers, sausage, and more. I saw something similar on a TV show and came up with my own version This recipe is SUPPOSED to be super spicy.

6 habanero peppers, chopped
6 serrano peppers, chopped
6 hot red peppers, your choice of pepper, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup white vinegar
1 -2 tablespoon sugar
2 -3 ounces radishes, chopped
yellow mustard, enough to have about 1 quart of ingredients in total
you can make the same recipe with ketchup or even a 50 /50 mix of ketchup and mustard

Steps:

  • Place it all in a food processor and process until you like the consistency.
  • Put in a jar for at least 2 days before using. Will keep for weeks in the fridge.

This recipe has a unique flavor; the blending of pepper, vinegar, and sweet Vidalia onion compliment each other. Fantastic recipe for burgers, steaks, or as a side order.

2 teaspoons olive oil
2 large onions, sliced (Vidalia or Walla Walla work best)
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • In a 1 1/2 skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add onions and sugar.
  • Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and most of their liquid has evaporated; 10-20 minutes.
  • Uncover and cook, stirring until onions turn a deep golden color; 10-20 minutes more (add 1-2 TBL water if onions start to scorch).
  • Add garlic, rosemary, and vinegar; cook and stir until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper and more vinegar if desired.
  • Will keep in refrigerator for 3 days.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 medium cucumbers
1 large bell pepper
2 medium onions
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 -2 teaspoon horseradish
2 teaspoons French's mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 cups white sugar
3/4 ounce powdered fruit pectin

Steps:

  • Peel and seed cukes and finely chop.
  • Finely chop onions and peppers.
  • Place in a colander and drain for 1 hour-squeeze and toss into a large pot.
  • Add vinegar, mustard, horseradish, salt, celery seed and ginger.
  • Add pectin and mix WELL.
  • bring to a full rolling boil and all the sugar.
  • Bring to a hard boil again and boil for 1 minute-your doing a lot of stirring also.
  • Remove from heat, skim and ladle into hot sterilized jars leaving 1/8 inch head space.
  • Process for 10 minutes at altitudes up to 1000 feet.

1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon sugar

  • Mix all ingredients and store in the refrigerator at least 24 hours prior to serving so that the flavors will blend.
