Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut dough into 8 pieces. In a bowl of an electric mixer, on medium speed, mix the dough, peppermint extract, 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candies and 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar. Remove the dough and roll it out into 1-inch balls. Arrange 2 inches apart on parchment-paper-lined cookie sheets and bake until sheet, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set on cooling racks. Put remaining powdered sugar in a bowl. While cookies are still warm, roll in sugar and sprinkle with remaining crushed peppermint candies.
