Steps:
- Directions Preheat Oven to 350° Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper In a small mixing bowl, combine salt, baking soda, baking powder and flour. Set aside. Cut 6 tbsp of butter into separate pieces. Set aside. Heat the remaining 8 tbsp (one stick) in a skillet on low heat, stirring until brown (appx. 2 mins). Pour into a glass mixing bowl, and add the remaining 6 unmelted tbsps of butter to the bowl, stirring to melt. Add the brown sugar to the butter and mix until creamed. Mix in the eggs and vanilla until there are no clumps and the mixture is smooth. Add 1/2 of the flour mix and stir until just mixed. Add in the remaining flour until you have a nice ball of dough. 1 tsp at a time, roll the dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake for 9 minutes. Cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Separately, melt 1 bar of chocolate according to the directions on the wrapper. (you will use the 2nd bar only as needed) When cookies are cool, transfer them back to parchment paper and either drizzle the cookies with chocolate, or dunk them to coat them. Allow the chocolate to set. Store in an airtight container.
