Grammie's Meatloaf image

Yeah, I finally came across a dinner recipe of Grammie's. I hope to find a few more hidden in the pages of her cookbooks but for now this is a classic dish that so many enjoy. I will look forward to making it and having it for dinner soon. 3/21/2012 --- Made this tonight for dinner and it was delicious. I cooked it in a small glass pan so the sauce came up half way in the dish and I basted it about every 15 to 20 minutes. I had enough sauce that I just drizzled it over some steamed potatoes and sliced meatloaf too. Yumm!!! Hope you enjoy.

  • While it is starting to bake, combine the following ingredients above to make a sweet and sour sauce. over loaf in oven, continue baking 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.
  • I drain off some of the juices and add the sweet & tangy sauce for the top & bake 1/2 hr longer.
