I got this recipe from a friend, who came up with it when trying to replicate an expensive mix she had tried. The mix makes a fantastic cheese spread. The great thing is you can prepare a large quantity of the dry mix to keep on hand for a quick appetizer or dish to pass. The mix also makes a great gift to give to friends and family at the holidays that isn't perishable. I also use this mix in my stuffing, burgers, and added into a creamy sauce I make to go over fish. The possibilities are endless.

Steps:
- Mix all dry ingredients together. I usually make a large recipe (8 times or more), and keep it on hand for the next time I want to make a spread or to add into other dishes. Can be stored for up to a year in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
- If making the cheese spread... Mix softened cream cheese, dry mix and wine until well combined and smooth. Mix in cheese. Store in fridge for several hours or overnight before serving.
- Serve with crackers, flatbread triangles or veggies.
