Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375. Center rack. Whisk dry ingredients. Beat butter 1 minute. Add sugar and beat 2 minutes. Add vanilla, and then eggs 1 at a time, beating 1 minute after each. Reduce speed to low and add dry ingredients in 3 batches. Mix in chocolate and nuts by hand. Spoon round tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets. Bake 9-12 minutes.
