Baked Salmon W/ Horseradish Sauce image

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I love the heat from horseradish!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pound(s) salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
1 - shallot, chopped
1/4 cup(s) white wine
2 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise, fat-free
2 tablespoon(s) sour cream, fat-free
2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
1 tablespoon(s) horseradish, prepared (not creamy sauce)

Steps:

  • HORSERADISH SAUCE: In a small bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, lemon juice & horseradish; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. NOTE: Can be made the day ahead for flavors to marry.
  • FISH: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place fillets, skin side down, in the pan. Sprinkle shallots over fillets; pour wine evenly over all. Bake 6 - 8 minutes or until fish is opaque.
  • Transfer salmon/shallots to serving plates. Top each serving with a heaping tbsp of horseradish sauce.
