BACON WRAPPED HONEY BOURBON SHRIMP image

Number Of Ingredients 12

Honey Bourbon Glaze
5 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon hot chili paste
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/1 lbs cooked shrimp
1 package thick cut bacon (strips cut in thirds)
1/2 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients for Honey Bourbon Glaze in bowl. Toss in shrimp. Let shrimp marinate for 3 hours. Mix cut up bacon strips and 1/2 cup brown sugar in order to coat bacon. Remove shrimp from marinade and place in glass baking dish. Wrap each shrimp in bacon, holding together with a tooth pick. Broil on bottom rack 5 minutes on each side. Watch closely to avoid burning.
