MOM'S SHRIMP DIP
This dip is one of the easiest and best appetizers you'll ever make. It's thick and creamy, and full of clean shrimp flavor. It's a Christmas Eve tradition for my family!

Steps:
- Set aside a few of the nicer looking shrimp, then chop up the rest.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and mayonnaise until well blended. A blender works best, to get the mixture nice and smooth. Then stir in the chopped shrimp, green onion, and garlic salt.
- Transfer dip to a small serving bowl and top with reserved whole shrimp and additional green onion. Sprinkle a bit of freshly ground black pepper over the top. Serve with crackers and fresh veggies for dipping. For crackers, we mostly serve this dip with Ritz Original Crackers or Keebler Original Club Crackers.

GRANDMA WANDA'S SHRIMP DIP
This is from my Grandma Wanda who was a great cook and a wonderful person who put up with my Grandfather. When she made it I thought she said Sheep dip so we called it sheep dip and we still do, but for this I'll call it Shrimp dip so no one is confused.

I first tasted this seafood dip at a family reunion and requested the recipe right away. It's since become a fixture at our Christmas Day celebration, partly because it's so easy- but mostly because it's so yummy!

GRANDMA CASSIE'S SHRIMP ÉTOUFéE
This dish reminds me of home and discovery. Not only is it the first dish I learned how to make from start to finish, it is a dish that exemplifies the beauty of creole cooking. Toast the roux too little, it will be too thick, toast the roux too much, and you have an entirely different dish. When it all comes together it's magic, and this recipe is wizardry 101.

GRANDMA JAYNE'S SHRIMP DIP
I got this recipe at a gluten-free cooking class that our local grocery store put on. This is a recipe from the Chef that taught the class got from her grandmother. This would also be good spread on a plate and topped with cocktail sauce. Cooking time does not include overnight chilling time.

Steps:
- Combine in a medium size bowl and still until well combined. (The original recipe called for putting all the ingredients in a food processor and pulsing until well combined - I didn't have one and mixing by hand worked just as well.).
- Place in a serving dish and cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight to allow flavors to blend.
- Serve with crackers or crudite.
