One 6-ounce can black olives, drained
One 6-ounce jar pimiento-stuffed green olives, drained
2 stalks green onions
1 stick butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup mayonnaise
12 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1 loaf crusty French bread, sliced lengthwise

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Roughly chop both the black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Slice the green onions into thin pieces.
  • Combine the butter, mayonnaise, cheese, olives and green onions in a mixing bowl. Stir together until thoroughly combined.
  • Spread the mixture onto the French bread. Bake until the cheese is melted and browning, 20 to 25 minutes.

2 cups drained canned tuna
2/3 cup chopped artichoke hearts
1/4 cup sliced roasted red peppers
2 teaspoon minced lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon chopped parsley leaves
Salt and pepper
3 egg yolks,
plus 1 whole egg*
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons roasted garlic
1 lemon, juiced
2 cups olive oil
1 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh sage leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons minced thyme leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons minced rosemary leaves
Salt and pepper
8 slices kalamata olive bread
1 small red onion, sliced
4 slices provolone

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients for the salad. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • For the Aioli: In food processor combine first 5 ingredients. Turn on processor and slowly add the oils for emulsification. Add the herbs, and salt and pepper. This sauce is enough aioli for 10 sandwiches.
  • Spread aioli on 1 slice of bread. Top with tuna salad, sliced red onion, cheese, and the other slice of bread. Grill on panini press for 3 to 5 minutes.

¼ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup chopped black olives
1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Stir together butter and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy. Mix in garlic powder and onion powder. Then stir in cheese and olives. Spread mixture evenly over French bread, and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Increase heat to broil, and cook until cheese melts and bread is golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.

2 cups flour
3 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg, room temp
3/4 cup milk (or buttermilk or water)
1/4 cup oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion (optional)
35 stuffed green olives
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Grease a loaf pan; set aside. Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and the cheese; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, lightly beat egg; stir in milk and oil, mixing well.
  • Add onion to the egg-milk, mix; then stir into flour mixture--do not over-mix, just get things moist.
  • Spoon half of batter into prepared pan. Arrange 28 olives on their sides, 4 rows of 7 olives each.
  • Spoon remaining batter over the olives, smoothing the top with the back of the spoon.
  • Place remaining 7 olives evenly spaced down the center of the top of the loaf.
  • Brush with olive oil (or spray).
  • Bake 35-45 minutes until wooden pick comes out clean.
  • Let stand 10 minutes---this is really important or the loaf will sort of fall apart when you cut it :-(.

310ml buttermilk
egg wash: 1 egg yolk beaten with 2 teaspoons water

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease and line a 31 x 11 x 7.5cm loaf tin with baking paper. Set aside. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, chilli flakes and mustard powder in a large bowl. Mix them well. Add the cheeses, olives, chives and thyme leaves and stir. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs together. Add the olive oil and buttermilk and whisk to combine. Make a well in the flour mixture and pour in the egg mixture. Stir until it becomes a thick sticky batter. Scrape it into the prepared tin and brush the top with egg wash. Strew the top with extra thyme sprigs and bake for 40 - 45 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. 2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
60 g freshly grated parmesan
60 g grated cheddar cheese

8 pieces sundried tomatoes, sliced thinly
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup mixture of spring onion and Italian parsley
2 tsp thyme leaves or 1 tsp dried thyme
2 eggs

1 1/4 cup buttermilk (or use 1 1/4 cup less 1 Tbsp fresh milk + 1 Tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice. Set aside for 10 minutes before using)

Extra thyme springs and sea salt, for topping

  • 1) Preheat oven to 180C or 350F. Generously butter a large loaf tin (23 x 13 x 6cm) and either line it with butter parchment paper or dust with flour. Set tin aside. 2) Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt, pepper and mustard powder into a large bowl. Whisk with a whisk to incorporate the dry ingredients. Add both cheeses, olives, sundried tomatoes, spring onion, parsley and thyme and stir them thoroughly together. 3) In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then whisk in the oil and buttermilk until they are well combined. 4) Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the wet ingredients. Stir together to form a thick, sticky batter. Scrape the batter into the prepared tin and spread it out evenly. 5) Brush the top of the batter with the egg wash and then srpinkly some thyme leaves and sea salt onto the loaf. 6) Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a fine skewer inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean. If the top starts to burn, place a piece of foil to cover the top of the loaf and continue baking. Leave in tin for 5 minutes before turning ot onto a wire rack. 7) This loaf is best served on the same day. Wrap left overs tighly and store in fridge. Gently reheat in oven if serving left overs.

1 cup Greek yogurt (sub with sour cream if you can't get the greek yoghurt)

5 eggs

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

1 large onion, chopped
115 ml olive oil, divided
4 tablespoons parsley, chopped
100 g pancetta, finely cubed
150 ml white wine
4 eggs, beaten
250 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
200 g cooked ham, chopped
100 g black olives, pitted, sliced into rings
100 g green olives, pitted, sliced into rings
150 g swiss cheese, coarsely grated

Steps:

  • Sauté onion in 15 ml (1 tbs) olive oil for 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Add pancetta and continue to sauté for 5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel to drain. Set aside.
  • Mix and combine white wine, olive oil (100 ml) and eggs.
  • Add the flour mixed with baking powder, mix and combine.
  • Add onion and pancetta, ham, black and green olives, grated cheese and parsley. Mix and combine.
  • Pour the mixture into the bread pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 180°C (toothpick test).
  • When done, let the loaf cool for 10 minutes. Take it out of the pan and transfer to a serving tray. Cut into slices thick to your liking. Serve with cherry tomatoes, radishes, green onions or green salad.

1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

3 4-ounce logs soft fresh goat cheese, each halved crosswise, halves pressed to 1/2-inch thickness
2 large egg whites, lightly beaten until foamy
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 3/4-inch-thick slices olive bread
Additional olive oil
2 5-ounce packages mixed baby greens

  • For vinaigrette:
  • Place garlic and oil in small glass measuring cup or ramekin. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave 30 seconds. Transfer garlic to small bowl. Reserve oil. Using fork, coarsely mash garlic. Add basil, vinegar, and mustard to mashed garlic. Whisk until smooth. Gradually whisk in reserved garlic oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.   • Mix first 6 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Dip each cheese round into egg whites, turning to coat. Coat each with breadcrumb mixture. Transfer coated cheese rounds to plate. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
  • Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in heavy large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add cheese rounds and cook until golden and crisp, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to plate.
  • Brush bread slices on both sides with olive oil. Grill until beginning to toast, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to plate.

1 piece Jalapeno or Serrano chili - seeded and minced
1 tablespoon Thyme - minced
1/2 tablespoon Rosemary - minced
4 pieces Eggs - large
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 stalks Scallions - thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 deg. Coat 9 inch loaf pan with cooking spray, line bottom with parchment paper.
  • In skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crispy, then drain.
  • In bowl, whisk together flour, baking power, cayenne powder, and salt. In another bowl whisk eggs with buttermilk, olive oil and mustard. Make a well in the dry ingredients and stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.

1/2 cup halved pitted Greek olive

Steps:

  • Heat buttermilk for 30 seconds in the microwave on HIGH.

60g freshly grated parmesan
60g grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup green olives, sliced
8 pieces sundried tomatoes, sliced thinly
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup mixture of spring onion and Italian parsley
2 tsp thyme leaves or 1 tsp dried thyme
2 eggs
2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 cup buttermilk (or use 1 1/4 cup less 1 Tbsp fresh milk + 1 Tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice. Set aside for 10 minutes before using)
Egg wash (optional) made from 1 egg yolk beaten with 2 tsp water
Extra thyme springs and sea salt, for topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180C or 350F. Generously butter a large loaf tin (23 x 13 x 6cm) and either line it with butter parchment paper or dust with flour. Set tin aside.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt, pepper and mustard powder into a large bowl. Whisk with a whisk to incorporate the dry ingredients. Add both cheeses, olives, sundried tomatoes, spring onion, parsley and thyme and stir them thoroughly together.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then whisk in the oil and buttermilk until they are well combined.
  • Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the wet ingredients. Stir together to form a thick, sticky batter. Scrape the batter into the prepared tin and spread it out evenly.
  • Brush the top of the batter with the egg wash and then srpinkly some thyme leaves and sea salt onto the loaf.
  • Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a fine skewer inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean. If the top starts to burn, place a piece of foil to cover the top of the loaf and continue baking. Leave in tin for 5 minutes before turning ot onto a wire rack.
  • This loaf is best served on the same day. Wrap left overs tighly and store in fridge. Gently reheat in oven if serving left overs.

1 loaf French bread
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can black olives
1 (7 ounce) jar pimento stuffed olives
1 bunch green onion
4 garlic cloves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) package monterey jack cheese
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Start off by peeling your garlic and adding your garlic along with your olive oil, and chili flakes to a heated skillet, you will want to cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes.
  • drain your olives and cut into halves, add to bowl.
  • cut your onions into small pieces add to olives.
  • add your shredded cheese, mayo, and half of your Parmesan cheese stir well.
  • on your french bread you will want to spread with a brush your garlic oil mixture, evenly & lightly.
  • Now add you olive and cheese mixture and bake @ 350 for 20-25 minutes till golden brown.
  • Top your bread with the last of your Parmesan cheese.

1 can (6 oz.) pitted black olives
1 jar (6 oz.) pimento-stuffed green olives
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
1 sourdough bread baguette, cut into 24 slices

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Drain olives and finely chop them. In a medium bowl, mix olives, cream cheese and 3/4 cup of the Monterey Jack cheese. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Spread about 1 Tbsp. olive mixture onto each bread slice. Top with a sprinkle of the remaining Monterey Jack cheese.
  • Bake for 10 min.
